After gaining her BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Huddersfield, Farzana initially started working towards her accountancy qualification before changing direction and started specialising in Tax. She obtained her Association of Tax Technicians qualification and then went on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Advisor.
Soon after qualifying, Farzana moved to the Isle of Man to gain specialist knowledge in dealing with International Tax matters and upon leaving the Isle of Man joined Animo Associates. Farzana has been with the Animo group for over 15 years ago. Farzana leads the Accountancy and Tax teams within Animo from our Rochdale offices.
Farzana has expertise in international tax structuring for both corporates and individuals. From a corporate perspective advising on cross-border structuring and reorganisations. Farzana specialises on advising re the taxation of UK resident non-domiciled individuals, with regards to their international matters such as their business structures and trusts and on the complexities of the UK taxation of non-domiciled individuals and the associated remittance issues.
